I had a bad day today - one of those days where you just want to get away from everyone. Well, for some odd reason I decided that taking a walk underneath the freeway would be interesting. With a little creativity, I found my way down.

From this perspective the structures take on a much gloomier and menacing appearance. Man made structures have become so advanced and magnificent.

I wonder if they will outlast us... could you imagine, if our civilization is ever decimated by disease or war, what future civilizations will think of our lives after seeing the structures we have built?

I assume it'd be much like we look at the pryamids, ruins, and artifacts from ancient civilizations and fantasize in our minds how interesting and different than us their lives were.

We take everything for granted.
